1. Is it legal to copy
DVD's? In some countries it is
considered illegal to copy encrypted DVD's. In the U.S.
the laws regarding encrypted DVD's is currently being
challenged. We do not condone, support, or approve of
video piracy and/or illegal copying of DVD media.
2. What type of blank media can I
use?
Depending on your hardware, you can use DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, or
DVD+RW.
3. What is the difference between the
R and the RW media types? The R media
type can only be written to once (burned once). The RW media
format is rewrittable, meaning you can reuse it, or burn it over
and over.
4. Will the movie and all the extras
be copied to one DVD? Yes, although you
must have at least 5 GB of hard frive space for a single layer DVD,
and at least 10 GB of hard drive space for dual layer media.
5. Can PAL and NTSC DVD's be
copied?
Yes, the products we reviewed can copy NTSC and PAL formated
movies.
6. Will a movie and all the extras be
copied to one DVD?
Yes, although any extras that you do not copy will allow more space
on the DVD for the actual feature which will result in a higher
video quality.
